Information on Booking Our Mobile Services

At L.A. Spa on the Go, we bring the salon to you, with our mobile salon services and stellar spa treatments.

Booking Policies/ FAQs

  • How to make an appointment

    We try to accommodate clients as soon possible but availabilty depends on location, service requested, and nail tech. 

  • Payment

    A credit card is required to reserve and secure all appointments.

    Charges for services will be applied to the credit card on file after completion of services.

     A different form of payment will only be accepted if we are notified before the appointment. The nail techs don't take payment.

               

    Groups/event/parties, a 50 % deposit is required. We will collect the deposit 2 weeks prior to the event date, which will go towards the final total. 

         



    Appointments are confirmed only once a credit card and/or deposit is received. 


         

  • Cancellations/Changes of Appointments

    Cancellation Policy:


    Cancel 48 hours before your appointment start time to avoid a 50% charge.


    For group bookings and events, cancellations must be made at least 5 days ahead of the appointment time to avoid forfeiting the deposit.


    Rescheduling Policy:


    If you wish to reschedule your appointment and the request is made less than 48 hours before the original appointment time, a fee of 25% of the total service cost will apply.



    Service Change Policy:


    Any changes to the services booked, requested less than 48 hours before the appointment start time, will be charged for the original services booked if the new booking's total value is less than the original booking.



    We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will do our best to be flexible and accommodate reasonable requests whenever possible. However, these policies are in place to ensure fairness to both our clients and our nail technicians.


  • Service Hours

    Service hours are Monday - Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. 


    Appointments booked outside our normal hours incur an additional after-hours fee. Fee varies depending on start time and end time, starts at $50 an hour. 


    Services provided during holidays will have a $100 surcharge on top of the service booked.


    We try to accommodate last minute appointments, but it is not always possible. 



  • Minimum Service Charge

    All in-home services are subject to a minimum service charge of $100, even if the chosen services total less.

    Travel fees, if added, are not part of the minimum service charge. 

  • Deposits

    Deposits for events/parties will be due at the time of booking. 

     Deposits are 50% of your total and will be used toward the balance due at the completion of the event. 


  • Gratuity

    Gratuities are not included in the service charge, but are optional and always appreciated.

    If you choose to add gratuities, we can add it to your final total when we charge for services. 

  • Travel Fees

    All traveling fees for our in-home mobile services are included in the service price if you’re located within our  main 10 mile service radius of Studio City.                                          


    Traveling fees will be determined upon making the appointment if you’re outside our main service area.

    Travel fees are not part of the minimum service charge.

  • No Shows/Running Behind

    If the technician cannot reach the client, or the client is not at the specified location and/or cannot be serviced for any reason, or health conditions were not disclosed at the time of booking, we reserve the right to:



    -Shorten the services 

    -Refuse service due to undisclosed conditions

    -Cancel the appointment after the 15-minute grace period from the scheduled start time. 

    In such cases, the client will be charged the full amount of the services booked. 

    We kindly request clients to be mindful of the nail technician(s)time.  We allot enough time for service and travel time and they may have other client's scheduled after the appointment, so it's important that they start on time.

    If the Nail Tech starts more than 15 minutes after the appointment start time, due to the client running behind, the nail tech may not be able to provide the full scheduled services. 

    Services may have to be shortened to fit the allotted time and/or canceled and client will be charged 100% of service.

    In case of anticipated lateness, please notify us as soon as possible, and we will try out best to accommodate the adjust schedule.



    If for any reason the nail tech is running late, we will notify the client as soon as possible and your service will not be affected. 


  • Parties/Events

     Our service providers will arrive 15-30 minutes in advance to set up. 

    Please be mindful of the service provider(s) time. 

     If your service provider(s) are required to stay past the time reserved for you, you will be charged the extra fee for every 15 minutes depending on the package booked.

              There is a 15-minute grace period.

  • Parking Fees

    Client is responsible for any fees incurred while providing your services, including but not limited to: parking, valet, tolls. 

    These fees are added to your service total.  

     Please be mindful of parking and notify us of any situations/issues we might come into  due to all equipment we have to carry. 

  • How Services Works

    Our nail techs bring everything needed to perform the service.  We bring towels, tools, bowls, stools, mats, and a variety of polish/gels to choose from. We use disposable single-use nail files, buffers, and pedicure bowl liners that are discarded after each client. We also disinfect all metal implements in hospital grade disinfectant and an auto clave. The only things we ask from the client to provide is seating, outlets, and access to water for the pedicures.

  • Technicians Experience

    We are experienced in servicing and accommodating clients with any health conditions or special needs. 

    We provided services to clients from children to seniors: with diabetes, ingrown toenails, bed/home bound, mobility issues, to chronic to terminal illness, etc. We ensure that the client with receive the service needed and be comfortable, relaxed, and feel pampered. 


  • Refusal of Services

    L.A. Spa On The Go reserves the right to refuse services if they determine there are any contraindications, medical conditions that were not disclosed at time of reservation or if the client acts inappropriate

    This would include conditions such as open wounds, fungus, infectious diseases, excessively thickened toenails. If we arrive and are unable to provide service for any of these reasons, we reserve the right to refuse service and client will still be charged for services.



  • Why prices are higher than a traditional nail salon.

    The reason the prices are higher than in a normal  brick & mortar nail salon setting is not only for the quality of  services itself, but for the convenience and for total time involved.  The idea of the mobile service is to be convenient for the client, so the manicurist must in-turn take the burden of the inconvenience to make that possible. This is all translated through the cost of the service. By comparison though, you will find that our prices are very comparable to other mobile nail services, if not lower.

  • Refunds/Service Guarantee

    Refunds: Please note that once services are rendered, we do not offer refunds. We strive to ensure your satisfaction with our services, and our nail technicians are committed to delivering high-quality results. If you have any concerns about your service, please inform us immediately during the service, and we will do our best to address any issues.


    Gel Services Guarantee: We guarantee our gel manicures for a period of two weeks from the date of service. If any issues arise with your gel manicure within this timeframe, we are pleased to offer a complimentary fix to ensure your complete satisfaction.


    Regular Polish Services: Services performed with regular polish are complementary to the overall service and are not guaranteed for longevity. The durability of regular polish may vary depending on individual nail conditions and daily activities. While we take utmost care to ensure lasting results, we cannot guarantee the polish's longevity beyond the immediate application.
